Dave Scarlett

Board of Directors

Dave Scarlett divides his time between Oceanview in Falmouth during the winter and Sebago Lake during the summer. With 19 years of service driving for ITN, Dave’s retired actuary background brings financial expertise and analysis to the board. He’s passionate about helping others and enjoys golf, bridge, and investment management. Dave and his wife, Marty, have two sons, Bill and Matt, both physicians.

John Bass

Board of Directors

John Bass, a longtime Portland resident since 1981, has been volunteering with ITN since 2015. A former lawyer specializing in maritime law, John values connecting with riders and supporting their independence. He enjoys hiking, camping, canoeing, and biking. John and his wife Priscilla have a son, James, and a daughter, Lucy, along with grandchildren.

Ken Jordan

Board of Directors

Ken Jordan, residing in Portland with his wife Brenda, has been volunteering to drive for six years. With a background in law and financial planning, Ken brings considerable experience and expertise to the Board. Ken is committed to providing essential transportation services to those in need. He enjoys golf, boating, and model shipbuilding. Ken and Brenda have three children and four grandchildren, enriching their lives with love and laughter.

Katherine Freund

Board of Directors

Katherine has a Master of Arts degree in Public Policy from the Edmund S. Muskie School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

She served on the Advisory Committee for the 2005 White House Conference on Aging and National Transit Institute Fellow. Currently, she serves on the Transportation Research Board’s Committee on the Safe Mobility of Seniors and chairs TRB’s Joint Subcommittee on Transportation Options for Seniors.

In 2009, Katherine was named an AARP Inspire Award Honoree, and in February 2008, she was featured in the Wall Street Journal as one of “12 People Who Are Changing Your Retirement.” Katherine received the 2006 Maxwell Pollack Award from the Gerontological Society of America, a 2006 award for Leadership in Innovative Enterprise Ideas from the Social Enterprise Alliance, the 2004 Archstone Award for Excellence in Program Innovation from the American Public Health Association, and a 1998 Giraffe Hero Commendation, given to people who stick their necks out for the common good.

Morgan Jameson

Executive Director

Morgan serves as the Acting Executive Director for ITNPortland in addition to her primary role as the Training Manager for ITNAmerica. She has been with ITN for 12 years, and lives in Westbrook with her husband and son. Morgan’s favorite part of being involved with ITN is the getting to see the difference the service makes in the lives of both riders and volunteer drivers.

Ralph Michaud

Operations Manager

 

Ralph is the Operations Manager for ITNPortland, and has been with the organization for 6 years. Ralph gained his dispatching expertise through experience with AAA and as both a taxi driver and dispatcher. Ralph loves that he is able to combine that experience with the ability to make a difference in people’s lives in his position with ITNPortland.
